The Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), which is based at Lord's Cricket Ground in London, has been the custodian of the Laws of Cricket since the its formation in 1787 and holds the copyright to them. The Laws outline all aspects of how the game is played, how a batsman is dismissed, how a team wins a game, through for example to specifications on how turf pitches for matches are to be prepared and maintained.
On the 11th April the MCC issued the summary document outlining the changes in the Laws of Cricket which will come into effect on the 1st October 2017. You can find the laws and the summary of changes below.
The Laws are available from Cricket Tasmania in booklet form but can also be found on-line.
You can also access the Laws Here via the Lords Website.
