LANCE COX
Lance first umpired in Hobart during the 1972-73 season after having moved from Sydney.  He was a regular in matches played in Hobart up until the 1983-84 season, a time during which he stood at first class level, and after which he moved to Tasmania's north-west coast where he was a leading figure in umpiring there until his death in 2011.
